Account Eligibility and Onboarding

What are the eligibility criteria for opening an account with Globus Payments?

To open an account, applicants must not be politically exposed persons (PEPs), must not be
based in high-risk countries, and must not be operating as shell companies. We are committed
to maintaining high compliance standards and will conduct thorough Know Your Customer
(KYC) for individuals and Know Your Business (KYB) checks for firms. All applicants must provide
the necessary documents during the onboarding process to verify their identity and legitimacy
before they can use our platform.

What documents are required to open an account?
All individual applicants are required to provide a government-issued photo ID, proof of address
(such as a utility bill or bank statement), and other personal details as part of the KYC process.
Firms must submit their business registration documents, details of beneficial owners, and
proof of business address as part of the KYB process. Additional documents may be requested
to fulfil our compliance obligations.
How do we handle applications from high-risk countries?
We do not onboard clients from high-risk countries as part of our commitment to comply with
international regulatory standards and to prevent financial crimes. This policy helps us ensure
the safety and integrity of our financial services. Applicants from non-restricted countries such
as UK are welcome to apply and will undergo our standard KYC or KYB verification processes.

Our mobile apps for both iOS and Android are currently in development. We are committed to
